Brazil Advances Entrepreneurial Growth with Inclusive Training and Regional Cooperation Initiatives in August 2026

In August 2026, Brazil is witnessing a surge of entrepreneurship development efforts spanning digital skills training, AI education, and regional collaborative strategies aimed at empowering small businesses and vulnerable groups.

Sebrae, a prominent entrepreneurial support organization, is offering a series of free remote workshops in Ubatuba throughout August. These sessions cover management, marketing, technology, finance, and business formalization. Highlights include a lecture on August 13 titled "Potência Digital: Como a Inteligência Artificial Transforma Negócios Pretos," focused on how AI is transforming Black-owned businesses. Other workshops teaching customer engagement, business idea organization using the Canvas model, and financial mindset training are scheduled, requiring advance registration via Sebrae’s platform.

Complementing this, a new initiative led by Skokka and Associação Fala Mulher is providing free workshops for women in vulnerable social situations from August to December 2026 in São Paulo. Regionally, Mossoró's municipal government participated in the 2nd Regional Development Agents Meeting held in Areia Branca, Rio Grande do Norte, on August 11. The meeting aimed to strengthen cooperation and strategies supporting small businesses across the western region. Mossoró’s Sala do Empreendedor team underwent training to improve services and utilize the Contrata+Brasil platform, designed to reduce bureaucracy in public procurement and increase small enterprise participation. Secretary Marckuty Vieira praised the event’s impact and Mossoró’s progress toward joining the platform, which is expected to facilitate small business involvement in municipal contracts.
