Brazil's 2026 Elections: Real-Time Vote Counting and Live Coverage Underway

The 2026 Brazilian elections are currently being closely monitored with real-time vote counting available on the g1 platform, starting from Sunday, October 25. This year’s elections include the presidential race alongside gubernatorial contests, with five states and the Federal District advancing to second-round runoffs for governor.

The g1 website offers a comprehensive suite of tools for voters and observers, including live updates on vote tallies by each federative unit of Brazil, interactive maps covering more than 5,500 municipalities, and live video coverage starting at 2 PM. Additionally, g1 features automated content and articles to help users better understand election dynamics and candidate standings.

Voters can track election results with granular detail: in 108 cities plus the Federal District, it is possible to view results from individual voting urns. On election day at 5 PM, candidate names initially appear in alphabetical order and then shift into ranking by vote totals as official results come in from the Tribunal Superior Eleitoral (TSE).

These advances in election reporting represent a significant effort to provide transparency and accessibility to Brazilian voters, enhancing democratic participation. The system’s real-time updates and detailed result breakdowns promise an engaging and informative experience for the public following the 2026 elections.

As the results continue to be tallied and broadcast live, attention now turns to the outcomes of the presidential race and the important second-round gubernatorial contests that will shape Brazil’s political landscape moving forward.
