The third edition of Electric Move is set to take place from November 6 to 8 at the Parque de Eventos Festa da Uva in Caxias do Sul, organized by the Sindicato das Indústrias Metalúrgicas, Mecânicas e de Material Elétrico (Simecs). This year’s event highlights solutions centered on electric mobility, decarbonization, and energy transition, bringing together companies, experts, and institutions to share sustainable technologies and business opportunities.

The event features a packed schedule including a Forum on Energy Transition and Decarbonization, the SAE Brazil Urban Mobility Symposium, and a Business Roundtable, all fostering dialogue and partnerships around sustainable solutions. Among the technologies showcased are electric buses, cars, bicycles, and solar energy systems. The event, which opens to the public with free entry, aims to create business connections while emphasizing environmental responsibility in mobility sectors.

Simecs president Ubiratã Rezler highlighted the unique focus of Electric Move compared to the annual Simecs Transforma event, noting its dedicated concentration on sustainability in electric transportation. On the final day, the Sustainability Journey promises technical lectures and discussions led by Microempa and the Brazilian Confederation of Commercial and Business Associations (CACB), further enhancing the event’s role in promoting sustainable business practices.
