Entrepreneurship and Business Flourish in Içara with Over 250 New Businesses and Successful ExpoACI Fair

The city of Içara is witnessing robust economic growth fueled by initiatives that support local entrepreneurs and showcase regional business potential. The Sala do Empreendedor program has facilitated the opening of over 250 new businesses, aiding Microentrepreneurs (MEIs) in formalizing operations and strengthening connections between public authorities and the private sector. This service helps entrepreneurs overcome hurdles in starting new ventures and contributes to enhanced access to credit, fostering local economic development.

Complementing this, the 11th ExpoACI was held at Parque Centenário for the first time, drawing significant public interest despite initial unstable weather. President of the Associação Comercial, Industrial e de Serviços de Montenegro e Região (ACI), Elisabete Griebeler, expressed satisfaction with the event's turnout and positive feedback, noting that the fair should strive for statewide recognition. Vice Mayor and Secretary of Industry and Commerce, Cristiano Braatz, highlighted the fair as a success in attendance and business generation, predicting future expansion.

Spanning four days, ExpoACI featured 150 stands covering diverse sectors such as industry, commerce, services, and family agriculture, coupled with entertainment and gastronomy. Together, these initiatives underscore Içara's burgeoning entrepreneurial ecosystem and the city's commitment to fostering business growth and regional economic vitality.
