The Feira do Conhecimento 2025 (FdC) is set to take place from November 6 to 8 in Fortaleza, the capital of Ceará, at the Centro de Eventos do Ceará, marking a major celebration of science and innovation in the Northeast region. Organized by the Government of Ceará through the Secretary of Science, Technology and Higher Education (Secitece), the event offers free programming aimed at popularizing scientific and technological knowledge.

Governor Elmano de Freitas will open the fair on November 6, accompanied by cultural performances including the Balé da Edisca. Key speakers include noted figures such as Gabriela Prioli, who will discuss the transformative power of artificial intelligence, and Amyr Klink. The event features three thematic stages—POP, TEC, and Conexão—focusing on scientific entrepreneurship, sustainability, and women's roles in innovation.

On November 7, Felipe Castanhari will deliver a talk on the lasting influence of content, alongside the Ceará Faz Ciência awards and Ceará Awards, which recognize emerging talents and innovative projects. The closing day will focus on education and entertainment, with activities including the OBMEP 2024 awards for mathematics, children’s shows, and an inspiring talk by entrepreneur Joselma Oliveira.

The Feira do Conhecimento emphasizes Ceará's position as a regional innovation center, supported by partnerships with organizations like Sebrae and SenaiCE. By providing workshops, performances, discussions, and awards, the event seeks to democratize access to science and inspire new ideas in the community.

This significant regional event is distinct but coincides with the National Science and Technology Week in other parts of Brazil, such as the IFPE Campus Ipojuca's event focusing on water preservation and climate change, demonstrating nationwide efforts to engage society with science through interactive and educational programming.
