Flávio Bolsonaro, the PL presidential candidate, was seen using a helicopter linked to the notorious 'Faraó dos Bitcoins' financial crime case during his campaign event in Barra da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro. The helicopter, registered as PT-OUR and owned by Fato Gestora, was previously seized by the Federal Police in 2021 when R$ 7 million was confiscated from individuals associated with Glaidson Acácio dos Santos, the so-called Bitcoin Pharaoh, who orchestrated a large pyramid scheme.
According to reports, the helicopter was lent by Adalberto Salgado Junior, implicated in transporting funds for Glaidson's firm, GAS Consultoria. Federal Police records reveal the helicopter was unauthorized for air taxi operations and was used privately without rental charges. Flávio Bolsonaro's previously undisclosed legal ties to the case include receiving R$ 1.3 million in 2024 for minimal legal services to Tunay Pereira Lima, a former associate of Glaidson. Notably, only one habeas corpus request signed by Flávio was found in ongoing legal proceedings.
Glaidson Acácio dos Santos was arrested in Operation Kryptos and sentenced to 19 years and 2 months in prison for defrauding approximately 77,000 investors through his financial scheme. Images from ICL Notícias confirmed Bolsonaro landing in the helicopter at the campaign event, though Flávio did not respond to inquiries regarding this matter.
This revelation raises critical scrutiny over Bolsonaro's connections with individuals involved in major financial crimes and the use of assets linked to such cases during his political campaign, providing new insight into the investigation surrounding the 'Faraó dos Bitcoins' scandal.
