Key details
The Prefeitura de Itapevi is organizing two key youth sports festivals this November as part of the Mais Esportes program, aimed at fostering social inclusion, respect, discipline, and teamwork among children and adolescents. On November 7, 137 Sub-15 futsal players will compete at the Centro Integrado de Esportes e Formação (CIEF), followed by a Football Festival for 135 Sub-8 players at Arena Parque on November 8. These free municipal events not only provide sporting opportunities but emphasize sportsmanship and cooperation as vital social values. Each participant will receive a snack and a commemorative medal, enhancing the celebratory atmosphere. The festivals will begin with the Brazilian National Anthem and include the attendance of families, coaches, and teachers, highlighting community support and encouragement. The Secretary of Sports and Leisure has taken measures to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all involved. This initiative reaffirms the city’s commitment to offering sports as a right and a tool for social inclusion for youth in Itapevi.
