Julianne Trevisol Clinches Victory in MasterChef Celebridades, Plans Culinary Future

Julianne Trevisol emerged as the champion of the first season of MasterChef Celebridades, a culinary reality show that featured an exclusive celebrity cast. The finale, broadcast on January 20, saw Trevisol outshine singer Valesca Popozuda in a cook-off that tested their skills in creating a main dish and a dessert.

Trevisol's winning menu included a sophisticated duck ravioli with foie gras sauce and a chocolate fondant tart complemented by thyme English cream and passion fruit coulis. In contrast, Popozuda prepared breaded shrimp with creamy pumpkin rice and grilled okra, followed by a Brazilian-inspired guava dessert featuring cheese ice cream and a cumaru pastry. The judges—Erick Jacquin, Helena Rizzo, and Henrique Fogaça—commended Trevisol for her technical precision, harmony of flavors, and consistency across dishes, awarding her the trophy and the title.

Alongside the trophy, Julianne received a R$ 300,000 cash prize, a R$ 30,000 gift card from Havan, and the opportunity to attend the renowned culinary school Le Cordon Bleu, a dream she had long harbored but was previously unable to pursue due to financial constraints. This victory marked a turning point in her career, as she plans to further her study in gastronomy while maintaining her acting pursuits. Trevisol also intends to expand her cooking brand 'Leo e Ju Cozinhando' and harbors aspirations of opening a restaurant in the future.

Reflecting on her journey, Trevisol expressed, "With each day I spent here, I fell more in love with cooking and learned to respect gastronomy more. I will expand this into many works, many possibilities." Beyond professional growth, she highlighted personal development, sharing that the experience taught her to be kinder to herself. Notably, she and Popozuda formed a strong friendship, underscoring the positive, collaborative spirit of the competition.
