Brazil’s music scene is gearing up for an exciting 2026 with several high-profile concerts and tours announced across the country. Rock in Rio 2026 promises a headline performance by the iconic Foo Fighters, led by Dave Grohl, scheduled for September 4. This legendary rock band joins a stellar lineup featuring Avenged Sevenfold, Elton John, Maroon 5, and Fatboy Slim, who will perform alongside Elton John on September 7. Meanwhile, celebrated singer-songwriter Jorge Vercillo is bringing his ‘JV30 Part II – Mais um Final Feliz’ tour to Aracaju on May 1, marking three decades of his influential career. Featuring new drummer Greyson Nekrutman, the EP is inspired by Alan Watts’ philosophies and will be supported by a final world tour beginning in March in Australia, followed by shows across the US and Europe, with anticipated dates in Brazil later this year.
