The 2025 season of MasterChef Celebridades has premiered, introducing a dynamic group of 12 celebrities from diverse professional backgrounds including singers, actors, influencers, and athletes. Notable participants such as singer Dodô, known for his culinary passion, Gilmelândia with her flavorful simplicity, and ex-Olympian Maurren Maggi, whose discipline from sports is expected to influence her cooking, are set to compete in a high-pressure environment marked by new challenges and record-breaking prizes.

The season's kickoff episode featured the intense Prova do Muro (Wall Challenge), which split the contestants into two groups, resulting in considerable communication challenges and heightened tensions, notably between contestants Valesca Popozuda and Luciano Szafir. Performance varied widely, with standout efforts from Dodô and Leonardo Miggiorin contrasting with struggles faced by others like Rachel Sheherazade, who admitted her unfamiliarity with fish preparation.

The first elimination was marked by Hugo Alves, who struggled with the difficult tarte tatin challenge. Hugo’s inability to properly execute the dish left him among the lowest performers along with Valesca Popozuda, culminating in his departure from the competition. Reflecting on his exit, Hugo expressed his disappointment, saying, "It's painful, especially not being able to show my love for cooking," likening his nervousness during the competition to a "first date gone wrong."

Judge Henrique Fogaça emphasized the show's focus on culinary skills rather than personal backgrounds, stating, "We evaluate dishes, not individuals." Meanwhile, iFood has partnered with the production this season, enhancing the viewer experience by enabling fans to replicate recipes from the program at home.
