Regional Trade Fairs and Industry Events Boost Brazilian Economic Integration and Development

Two significant events are set to enhance regional economic development through trade and industrial networking in Brazil. From July 30 to August 2, the 3rd International Fair of Oiapoque in Amapá will feature strong participation from international delegations from Suriname and French Guiana. The fair aims to deepen economic integration between Amapá, French Guiana, the Guiana Plateau, and the Caribbean. Organized by Sebrae, the Amapá State Government, and the Amapá Economic Development Agency, the event will host around 10,000 visitors and showcase sectors such as commerce, tourism, agro-industry, and creative economy. Suriname’s delegation, including representatives from its Chamber of Commerce led by Padarath Jayant, will participate in key seminars like the Border Economy Seminar, focusing on business with the border region. French Guiana’s delegates will engage in strategic business rounds, highlighting the importance of cross-border partnerships. Meanwhile, on September 23 in Uberaba, FIEMG Regional Vale do Rio Grande will hold the Conexão Industrial event to foster business networking and opportunities among regional industries. Featuring a keynote by customer relationship expert Edmour Saiani on the "4Rs of Success," the event promotes trust, respect, and sustainable results for organizational growth. Over 60 companies will engage in business rounds to discuss demands, opportunities, and supply chain strengthening. FIEMG’s president José Flávio Zago emphasized the federation’s commitment to regional economic progress through company integration and competitiveness. Both events underscore the growing emphasis on collaboration and business environment enhancement across Brazilian regions and neighboring countries, supporting sustainable economic development and integration.
