São Paulo is preparing to showcase itself as a hub for business innovation and tourism with two major upcoming events in October 2025. The city’s delegation is participating in the ABAV Expo in Rio de Janeiro starting October 7, while the Feira do Empreendedor 2025 will be held locally from October 15 to 18 at the São Paulo Expo.

The ABAV Expo, one of Latin America's largest tourism fairs attracting around 42,000 visitors and 2,000 exhibitors, will feature São Paulo's Municipal Tourism Secretariat along with InvestSP. A delegation including seven tourism companies such as Jardim Bíblico do Templo de Salomão and Zoológico de São Paulo aims to promote the city’s strengths in event tourism, gastronomy, history, ecotourism, and culture. The mission is part of the Discover São Paulo program, which since early 2025 has led 14 missions and expects to generate R$ 80 million in business by year's end. Companies participating will receive up to $1,000 for travel expenses. Rui Alves, São Paulo’s municipal tourism secretary, emphasized the focus on attracting foreign investment and visitors by highlighting São Paulo’s diverse tourism offerings (ID: 89929).

Following that, the Feira do Empreendedor 2025 will welcome more than 110,000 visitors and aims to generate roughly R$ 45 million in business. Organized by Sebrae-SP, this event centers around the theme 'Inteligência Empreendedora' (Entrepreneurial Intelligence), leveraging five decades of expertise in delivering tailored solutions to entrepreneurs. Its agenda includes critical topics such as credit, interest rates, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and data protection. Attendees can engage through lectures, panels, consulting sessions, and business networking opportunities grouped into seven thematic areas designed to enhance business competitiveness and sustainability. Entrance is free, encouraging broad participation (ID: 89930).

Together, these events underscore São Paulo’s commitment to driving economic growth through innovation and strategic promotion of its tourism and business sectors. They symbolize opportunities for knowledge exchange, investments, and strengthening São Paulo's status as a prime destination in Latin America.
