A Venezuelan government aircraft, an Airbus A-319 registered as YV2984 and operated by the state airline Conviasa, recently landed near the Brazilian border amid escalating tensions between the United States and Venezuela. The flight departed Caracas and touched down at Santa Elena de Uairén, roughly 10 km from Brazil's border in Roraima, before returning to the capital after about 40 minutes. This aircraft has been associated with Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, having transported him to Brazil previously, though there is no evidence that Maduro was aboard during this flight.
