Balneário Camboriú’s Ferris Wheel Gains International Acclaim as Espírito Santo Hosts Top Electronic Music Festival

Balneário Camboriú's iconic Roda FG Ferris wheel has earned international recognition as a finalist for the IAAPA Brass Ring Excellence Awards 2025, often dubbed the 'Oscar' of the global attractions industry. Competing in the Best Location-Based Entertainment category, Roda FG is the sole finalist from Southern Brazil, standing alongside nominees from Berlin and the United States. The winners will be announced on February 5, with the awards ceremony set for mid-May in Mexico. Since its inauguration five years ago, Roda FG has welcomed over 2.5 million visitors and has twice been certified as a Great Place to Work. At 82 meters tall, it offers visitors panoramic 360-degree views and symbolizes Balneário Camboriú’s rising prominence in international tourism. Notably, Cícero Fiedler, co-founder of Roda FG and president of Interparques Holding, received the IAAPA Brass Ring Inspiration Award in 2025.

Meanwhile, Espírito Santo is gearing up for a major electronic music festival featuring celebrated artists such as Dubdogz, Vegas, and Victor Lou. This event underscores the region's growing appeal as a vibrant hub for electronic music, aiming to draw large crowds eager for live performances from leading DJs.
