In 2025, Brazilian educational institutions and municipalities actively engaged communities through science and technology-focused events. The 5th National Intermunicipal Week of Science and Technology concluded successfully in Paulista on November 8, highlighted by collaborative activities promoting environmental awareness, especially the Marine Turtles Project. Organized by the Municipal Secretary of the Environment (SEMMA) and the Executive Secretary of Science, Technology, and Innovation, the event fostered integration among municipalities, institutions, and volunteers. SEMMA coordinator Rayza Brasileira emphasized the event's success in fostering environmental consciousness, while volunteer Raiane Simões from the Martuga Project underlined the project's impact on environmental education and turtle nest monitoring, showcasing Paulista's commitment to science and sustainability.

Meanwhile, Escola Estadual Profa. Cynira Pires participated for the first time in the 22nd National Science and Technology Week (SNCT), held from October 21 to 26. With the theme "Planeta Água: ocean culture to confront climate change in my territory," the school collaborated with ETEC Lauro Gomes and the INOVA CPS Agency to engage students in science and technology topics encouraging creativity and innovation. Activities included displays of student projects for parents and guardians. Director Flavia Vilma de Medeiros highlighted the importance of combining theory and practice to prepare students for future job markets.
