Innovation and Local Entrepreneurship Shine at Feira do Empreendedor and Feira de Negócios Events in August 2026

Several key events highlighting local entrepreneurship and innovation are set to take place across Brazil in August 2026, including the Feira do Empreendedor in São Luís and the Feira de Negócios 60+ in Mato Grosso do Sul.

The Feira do Empreendedor 2026 will run from August 14 to 16 at the Multicenter Negócios e Eventos in São Luís, Maranhão. Emphasizing innovation and technology to boost small industrial businesses, the event is a collaboration between Sebrae Maranhão and Sistema FIEMA. It will showcase programs like Brasil Mais Produtivo, aimed at increasing productivity in micro and small industries, and Inova Indústria, which offers consultancy and business missions. Over 30 activities will be available at the Arena Indústria, including lectures on artificial intelligence, green industry, and industry trends. Local businesses will use the event as a networking platform. One such business, Grupo Sunset, seeks investors and franchisees to expand its Açaí Sunset brand into new regions of São Luís, the interior of Maranhão, and eventually other states. A group representative thanked Sebrae for fostering entrepreneurial growth in the region.

Meanwhile, the Feira de Negócios 60+ is scheduled for August 11 at the Sesc Camillo Boni in Mato Grosso do Sul. The event will feature more than 30 entrepreneurs displaying artisanal sweets, crafts, fashion, cosmetics, and accessories. Designed to encourage local entrepreneurship and community engagement, the free event will also award four gift baskets to shoppers who purchase from the exhibitors.

Both events serve as critical platforms for small producers and industrial businesses in Brazil to showcase innovation, connect with support programs, and explore opportunities for growth. They are supported by governmental and educational institutions, highlighting their significance in promoting economic development and entrepreneurship across regions.
