Supported by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI) and financed by Finep, the initiative aims to democratize technology access and equip young Brazilians with skills for the digital future.

With over 60 years of experience in education and research, Inatel offers a diverse range of courses, podcasts, and audiovisual content covering artificial intelligence, robotics, smart cities, programming, sustainability, and applied sciences. The platform incorporates interactive, modern audiovisual resources to create an engaging learning environment that encourages experimentation and creative thinking.

'Nativos do Futuro' also promotes student leadership and practical experience through technology competitions and hands-on activities linking theory with everyday contexts. Guilherme Marcondes, vice-director of Inatel, highlighted that the platform prepares youth for upcoming challenges and opportunities by providing early, quality access to state-of-the-art knowledge nationwide.

Coinciding with the 22nd National Science and Technology Week led by the Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (INPE), which features free public workshops and lectures on climate and technological themes, this new platform complements Brazil’s broad push for expanding scientific and technological education.

The initiative reflects a significant step toward inclusive education by ensuring all Brazilian high school students can independently explore technology sectors critical to 21st-century careers, regardless of their location or resources. 'Nativos do Futuro' offers a gateway for young learners to develop essential competencies and inspires them to envision futures in innovation-driven fields.
